Weekly Newsletter (1st February 2017)
I was going to start the first Motspur update of 2017 wishing you all a happy new year, but that seems somewhat bizarre now that we are in February! Not entirely sure where the past seven weeks have gone, but I do hope you all had an enjoyable time over December, wherever you spent it.
For such a long gap between newsletters we don’t have a great deal of content for our first entry of the year, so if anyone has any stories or updates that they’d like me to include next week, please do let me know!

Hyde Park Relays – Saturday 11th: We’d really love to get a team together for this. Aware it is very late notice, but if there is anyone interested (we currently only have two people) to join a team of 6 over about 5K then please do let us know via email or on the Facebook group

Results Summary
My Power of 10 stalking continues:
- Alexander Stephens – made an appearance at Swindon parkrun on the 7th January, coming home in 6th place and comfortably sub-19.
- Lydia O’Donoghue – I think I would get RSI if I tried to write down all of the performances Lydia has put in since the last newsletter, it is safe to say that she is staying active! A NYD parkrun double (Greenwich and Bexley) and a 66th place finish in the Surrey League at the magnificent Lloyd Park (not that I’m biased…) are possibly the highlights, alongside a horrible looking Box Hill race!

We’re still working on these, but if anyone is interested and hasn’t put their name forward as yet, please do let me know! I’ll be contacting those of you who asked about these before in the not-too-distant future!
